Animal safety test
The main issue of using “Kilvi” is safety against human beings.
Indeed, some sterilizer has serious influence against human bodies.
That is why we experiment the following test for safety of Kilvi.
Oral toxic test ( In case of ingestion ) : Safe, in case of drinking
10 mice (male and female) are given 50mi/kg of Kilvi. And observe the vital symptom.
Nothing has been admitted and the weight of each mouse has increased.
And there is nothing for vital complain after anatomy.
After that we define the toxicity of Kilvi is low, at least 50mi/Kg as LD50 for mouse.
Irritation test for skin( In case of touching) : No, irritation against skin
4 rabbits (male and female) are applied to damaged and undamaged skin with Kilvi.
And observe the suppuration and others in 4 hours.
After that, index the reaction.
1,24, 48 and 72 hours observation score 0 index in each step.
After that we define that irritation against skin is not admitted.
Eye irritation test ( for eye ) : No, irritation to eye
6 female rabbits are applied to 0.1ml of Kilvi to right eye and nothing
to left eye.
After that, index the reaction.
1,24, 48 and 72 hours observation score 0 index in each step.
After that we define that irritation against eye is not admitted.
Sensitization test (allergenic reaction ) : No, allergenic reaction is not caused.
Maximization method has been done with Female mouse.
There is no allergenic reaction with Kilvi.
After that we define that sensitization s not admitted.
Skin cumulative irritation test ( for skin ) : No, irritation to skin cumulatively
4 rabbits (male and female) are applied Kilvi to damaged and undamaged skin 1time per
day in 6 hours. This application has been done in 14 days.
Each observation was done after 30 minutes after application.
And every skin has done with histological check.
Throughout the observation, there is no disorder and no reaction to skin.
Every index is 0 score. After that we define that cumulative irritation against skin
is not admitted.
Colony forming suffocation test (Influence to cell ) : No problem
Colony forming suffocation test has been done with mouse V79 cell.
If the density of Kilvi is over 12.5% in culture medium, there is toxicity to cell.
But this result shows IC50 score is less than 20%.
Meanwhile standard material has strong toxicity.
From above we define that Kilvi has activity of colony forming suffocation.
