Kilvi is water containing abundant halogenated acid molecules. Since halogenated acid is the same as sterilization component in human bodies, the larger its abundance ratio, the higher the sterilizing power. Kilvi is not new from the viewpoint of using halogen. However, it is epoch-making in producing and using a large amount of halogenated acid molecules that are sterile components contained in halogen by adjusting pH with acid . Halogenated acid molecules exhibit sterilizing power 80 times that of halogenated acid ions. halogen is used as a bactericide widely in various fields of food hygiene, environmental hygiene, and so on. For its use to sterilize food and other objects, which directly affect human bodies, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare guides to dilute the concentrate solution of 12% to 200ppm for such use. halogen, when diluted to 200ppm, is alkaline in the range of pH8.2-8.8. In this range of pH, the abundance ratio of halogenated acid molecules as the effective sterile componetnt is as low as 10% or less. If the pH is adjusted to or below 7.2, the abundance ratio jumps up to 70-100%, and the sterile power is enhanced. Kilvi is sterile water containing a large quantity of halogenated solution as the effective sterile component, which can be prepared by adding a very small amount of diluted pH control acid to halogen to adjust it to pH6.5-6.8.
